Celsius Earns NSF Certified for Sport for its Energy Drinks

Energy drink brand Celsius has announced that many of its energy drinks, including all permanent flavors in the sparkling, fizz-free, and Celsius Vibe line, are NSF Certified for Sport.

The certification confirms that certified products are independently tested for more than 300 substances banned by major athletic organizations and verified to contain the ingredients and amounts listed on the label.

“As the functional beverage category continues to evolve, third-party verification is becoming increasingly important for consumers, retailers, and partners,” said Kyle Watson, chief brand officer for Celsius. “Achieving NSF Certified for Sport status reinforces our commitment to transparency, rigorous quality standards, and delivering a product that meets the expectations of today’s competitive and performance-driven marketplace.”

Celsius marked the milestone by hosting its first Athlete Summit from July 8-10 in Miami, Florida. The three-day gathering brought NCAA and professional athletes together along with educational programming from nutrition and fitness coach Joey Munoz, PhD, and Jim Starr, director of client engagement, nutrition, and wellness at NSF.
